Humble Beginnings
Trevor McGuinness and Paul Miller shared a deep interest in property and strata management, exploring new business ventures in the Philippines. After extensive discussions with fellow entrepreneurs and numerous trips to the country, they decided to beta test a strata administration business in the Philippines.
In April 2019, Strata Staff was launched, recognizing the potential in providing high-quality business administration support to Strata companies from an offshore location. By late 2020, Dan Fabros joined the team, bringing his expertise to help scale operations and enhance business efficiency.
Starting modestly with just three computers and a water dispenser, Strata Staff devoted countless hours to meticulously documenting every strata administration task. During this period, they serviced various agencies on a casual basis. Despite facing significant challenges, such as earthquakes, lockdowns, and the COVID-19 pandemic, Strata Staff’s resilience and commitment to overcoming obstacles remained unwavering.
Since its inception, Strata Staff has experienced rapid growth, both in client numbers and the volume of strata administrative tasks processed daily. The team currently handles over 200,000 individual strata tasks each month, ranging from basic tasks like archiving to more complex responsibilities such as processing S184/S22 certificates, addressing levy queries, preparing financial bank statements, managing inboxes, and drafting AGM agendas.
