About the Job

The Junior Accountant provides accounting and administrative support to the client's operations by processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial documentation, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. The role ensures the timely and accurate processing of invoices, owner charges, reimbursements, levy administration, and financial records while maintaining compliance with established client procedures and company standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build a career in accounting. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip successful candidates with the knowledge and skills required to support client operations effectively.

Responsibilities

Financial Transaction Processing

  • Process invoices and financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing Funds on Behalf (FOB) transactions.
  • Process owner reimbursements and verify supporting documentation.
  • Assist in processing lot owner charges and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.

Strata Levy Administration

  • Prepare and process strata levy transactions within the accounting system.
  • Generate and distribute levy notices to property owners.
  • Maintain accurate levy records and supporting documentation.

Administrative Support

  • Create and update supplier records within the accounting system.
  • Process work orders and quotation requests.
  • Generate strata certificates and other finance-related documents.
  • Perform filing, document management, and electronic record keeping.
  • Maintain organized financial files, trackers, and operational records.

Data Management

  • Enter and maintain accurate financial information within company systems.
  • Review and validate supporting documents before processing transactions.
  • Assist with record reconciliation and data verification activities.
  • Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

Team Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of accounting processes.
  • Assist with accounting reports and administrative projects as required.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned in support of client operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or any business-related course.
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, administrative support, or data entry is an advantage but not required.
  • Internship or on-the-job training in accounting or finance is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
